Give Thanks - November 2025

November 06, 2025

As the autumn leaves begin to fall, November marks the beginning of the final chapter of the year. This month offers a rare pocket of time, nestled between the thrill of October and the rush of December. November allows for a window to breathe, observe, and take a step forward. This may also be an excellent opportunity to ask, "Which goals are worth finishing strong?".

There is still plenty of time to take meaningful steps towards achieving your annual goals. Use this month to engage in quiet clarity, and consider resetting your pace, perspective, and priorities before life speeds up again. Consider conducting a self-audit to determine what is effectively working in your life and what feels stuck. Set a goal of having three items to complete before the end of the month, and three items to defer. It is important to remember that setting aside regular personal check-ins can help to elevate your overall well-being.

This year, November 27th marks Thanksgiving, a national holiday celebrating harvest and appreciation. For many, it is a chance to come together to give thanks and enjoy the company of family and friends. Here are some unique ways you can celebrate Thanksgiving this year:

  •   Participate in a local "Turkey Trot". Register for this popular 5k! It is typically held on Thanksgiving morning and is a great way to combine community spirit with a charitable cause.
  • Host a pie swap. If you're looking for a new tradition to start this year, consider having guests bring various types of pies to share for a collaborative meal.
  • Play gratitude bingo! If you’re looking to step outside the box this year, consider creating a bingo game with themes of gratitude to play with family. This can be a great way to keep guests entertained.
